Kay

Bass, vocals.

Kay plays…. a Kay, of course. Started out on a cheap Ibanez, but that sat in the basement during the flood and the body got a little damp…. still works but not presentable. Then she discovered that there WAS such a thing as a Kay bass. Originally a 60’s jazz bass with a VERY nice sound. Not too long a scale and nicely balanced. McCartney recorded some Beatles/Wings songs playing one. And…. they make very nice reproductions. Kay LOVES her Retro Kay….. And it sounds pretty darn nice. The size, balance and neck length just fit her perfectly and the flat wound strings are easy on hands and just sound sweet. Brought to you through a nice AMPEG 500W head and cab.
